From file to receipt

How it works

Four steps. You see the price before anything is held.

  1. Add your fax

Enter the fax number and add your files: PDF, Word, Excel, text or photos. Add a free cover page if you want one. Your name goes at the top of every page, with your number if you give one.

  2. Check the pages and the price

We turn your files into fax pages and show you each one, with the total. It's 20¢ per delivered page. The cover page is free.

  3. Send

We hold the price from your balance and start dialing. If the line is busy or doesn't answer, we redial free for up to 6 hours. Every try shows up live on your fax.

    1. Queued

2 files and a cover page, 7 pages. $1.20 held.

    2. Try 1: line busy

Redials are free until 4:02 PM.

    3. Try 2: connected

Sending page 3 of 7. Nothing is charged until the last page is through.

  4. Get your receipt

When the whole fax is delivered, you're charged once and your delivery receipt is ready. Anyone can check it at Verify a receipt.

If it isn't delivered, the money we held comes back and you pay $0.00. We show Not delivered and No charge.

The details

If a call drops partway

We send the whole fax again, free, so the other side gets one complete copy. You're never charged for part of a fax.

What the page header says

Your name, plus the date, time and page, and your number if you give one. If you leave the number blank, we send from dtaas.com's number, and the header says "your name via dtaas.com".

What we don't do

dtaas.com can't receive faxes. Put your own fax number on the page header and replies go straight to you. If you leave it blank, the header shows our number, and faxes sent back to it won't reach you.
